CJ is the Humanities Graduate Student Association Department Representative for the Department of Religion and the Graduate Student Liaison for the Department of Religion. He has published the entry on "Marcion" in the Lexham Bible Dictionary (Lexham Press, 2014). He works as a copy editor for GNOSIS: Journal of Gnostic Studies (Leiden: Brill) and glossary writer for the MacMillan Interdisciplinary Handbook 10-volume series on Religion (New York: MacMillan 2016).
